Here I am, back after a long absence, and now I\'m leaving again. Found a couple of cheap tickets for Greece, so I\'m bringing my girlfriend and head down to Thassos for a week on wednesday. It\'s not like I\'ve had it tough since I got back to Sweden in April, but it will be nice visit the Mediterranean for the first time in several years. No idea what it\'s really like down there right now, but I reckon it will make a good memory anyway.

Oh, and I will start working at Norrona in a few week

Recently agreed with a new partner for next season, Röjk Superwear. Insanely comfy, cool and technical gear, feeling great about this! Check out their stuff!
Also got a bunch of new stuff the other day. New gloves from Hestra that I haven\'t used before and that I think will work great for spring skiing. Also got a new helmet and back protector from Sweet Protection, the latter a new model for next year. Fits better and is more comfy than any other back protector I\'ve used or tried on.
What a competition Xtreme Verbier was! Sick runs by my fellow Swedes Reine Barkered and Christine Hargin led to double wins in the comp as well as on the tour! Simply amazing!!
Been a long time since I posted anything here, mostly because I\'ve been preparing my move back to Sweden and haven\'t had time (or been in shape after my crash in Jan) to ski. Managed to get a few days in Hakuba a week or so ago though. Great fun, weather and company! Managed to put together a little something, feel fre

The essence of skiing

This is going to be a slightly different post from the previous ones I\'ve written here.
During the past eleven days, which I\'ve spent in Hakuba, Japan, I\'ve met some amazing people, old friends and new aquaintances alike. Weather has been far from what we hoped for with snow conditions that were okay at their best, which can be stressful when you\'re out like this, as I\'m sure everyone knows.
I have always felt the need to perform and be productive, and after damaging my left PCL a month a

SKILOGIK Media Trip

So, tomorrow is the big day. I head back to the mountains for the first time in a month. Time and rest have shown that my injury at the end of January was not only at the shin, but at my back ACL as well. This is a bitch, of course, but I\'m able to walk, bend my knees and so on now at least. Although it does hurt still.
In any case, from Jan 23 to March 4, I will be out working and enjoying myself with the rest of the Swedish SKILOGIK team, as well as a few of our Japanese associates. It will

Tradition

Been a while now, due to a slight depression! In accordance with tradition, I got injured again in January this year, although a week or so later than usual. During a photoshoot here in Japan, I hit a tree with my shin just below the knee with full force and has been trying to recover since it happened on Jan 24. The leg swelled up instantaneously and I went down to the hospital, had a few x-ray shots taken and found out nothing was broken, nothing fractured, and my ACL etc made it out okay as w

Going away to the mountains again tomorrow, after a week of recuperating and spending time with my girlfriend in Osaka. Will ski and shoot for an article together with journalist Magnus Wiström, photographer Patrik Lindqvist and a snowboarding Aussie of a friend in the Japanese Alps. Super psyched about this of course! Great hotels, food, hot springs and, of course, skiing follow us wherever we go the coming week, so stay tuned for updates!
In the meantime, here\'s a little video from nine

Wow, already over ten days since my last entry. Not okay! Anyway, left the mountains last night and arrived in Osaka early this morning. It\'s been an amazing nine days! Untracked pow every day, seven days of snowfall, three major dumps, two bluebird pow days, amazing food, and sooo many happy meetings with great people, friends and new aquaintances alike.
Have a lot of footage to go through, and there will be videos up soon, but for today, some pics (all (c) Robert Koch) from a few quick runs

This one is from my season opener right after Christmas. Great conditions, and so much fun to be back on the mountain!
Heading out again tomorrow night, will hopefully be back with pics and vids within the near future. Until that time, enjoy!!

Finally, the time has come. Thanks to my kind and understanding girlfriend, I get to go to the mountains on the 26th. I cannot even begin to explain how happy this makes me. Not least because we\'ve received over 1,5 metres of snow in the last week. 40 cm last night!!

Being back in Sweden was awesome, met lots of great friends, new and old. Also made a couple visits to the fairly recently opened Norrona store in Stockholm. Fantastic gear and staff, drop in if you\'re in the neighborhood!

After a few early mornings, forced to wake up by my 7 months old nephew, I had the opportunity to catch up on some sleep. After breakfast, I got in the car and drove to Hestra, one of my cherised sponsors, where I spent the afternoon talking, having a cup of coffee, checking out next years gloves, and of course, adding a few to my inventory. Loved the smell of leather in the air there, and it\'s always interesting to get a closer look at both the company and its products like that. Some pics fro

A bunch of new gear showed up last week, including two new pairs of skis from SKILOGIK, both with custom all-wood top sheets. They are so pretty I don\'t even like the thought of having them mounted, but they ride even sicker than they look, so I guess I have no choice. :)

Left: Depth Hoar; Right: Rock Star

Got a box of goodies from Sweet as well, thanks a lot!

Looks like I\'ll go skiing next weekend. Hope to see them clearing the roads Japanese style, as in the pic above.
