some summer stuff
figured i should fill you in on whats been going on in my life this summer…
i decided not to go skiing anymore after getting home from the last MSP shoot in snoqualmie in may, i had been looking forward to get some well needed time off the hill. here’s some highlights:
in may i went fishing back home in stockholm a lot. here's a nice little 3 lbs northern pike.
what a beauty. and the fish is nice too.
here's the place i go fishing. my family's been renting it for ages and its the shit. everytime i come home from a trip i go right out here, one hour from downtown stockholm city stress.
after the home time, i went to bali, indonesia for about 2 months with my girlfriend sofia. we booked this trip in december so we were super stoked to finally be on our way. i have like 800 shots from this trip, but here’s a few keepers:

this is from a spot called Bingin. its a really fast, hollow wave breaking in shallow water. thats me getting in my first tube. stoke!

here's a big bling fish we caught on a trolling trip. we only got one and we were out for 4 hours so it was kind of a bummer. but i was stoked!
last day of the trip i got this tattoo of my guitar. this one hurt like a bitch because it goes over my hip and ribs. i was wishing i wasnt so skinny... here's the outlines of the body.

we had a day to kill in bangkok, thailand, on our way home. this is from oceanworld in siam center, and im chilling with my turtle.
im glad i only had to meet these in fishtanks, and not in the surf...
after getting home from our long indo vacation i havent been doing much really. you know, just boring, typical off season stuff, like booking ticket and such. but i also managed to squeeze in one day of surfing yesterday, 3 ft and onshore windswell here in stockholm, it was my first time surfing in sweden so i had a great time. didnt get any good pics of it but here’s something:
surreal experience. standing in the sun, 25°C in the air, waxing our surfboards, getting ready to get in the surf only about an hour from stockholm city. in the baltic sea. good times.

unfortunately, this is the only shot of the surf we got before the camera died, but at least its something. im dropping in on the far left in the picture.
….and there we are, that pretty much sums my whole summer up actually.
my schedule right now looks something like this:
- go back and surf any day the winds look like they might work
- coach kids at the water ramps in stockholm
- head to NZ.
