time
I have lots of it. Flying home tomorrow afternoon, then I will spend the next few weeks back home in Sweden rehabing. I am kind of looking forward to get to spend some time on the gym, hanging out with friends, decorating the apartment etc. Being hurt is definitely not only a bad thing, I will definitely get motivated to ski again and I will come back more ready than ever.
Big props go out to Bobby Brown, Jossi Wells, and Henrik Harlaut for absolutely killing it today. A generation shift is taking place and it is awesome to watch.
Here’s a drawing of Sofia I made today, as soon as I got home from the mountain;

JACOB!!! I just broke my leg up at heavenly on Tuesday, on my 19th day of the season. I was shredding the fresh two feet we just got and tried to hop over a fallen tree, boot got locked under the tree and SNAP…It’s a total bummer, graduated college last year and just moved out west to pursue a life long dream, now im waiting on surgery to get some screws and a plate. I’m super depressed right now and trying to figure out what can possibly take the place of skiing. This was the year I was going to start competing in big mountain, I was registered and everything for the qualifiers at Kirkwood, I guess that wont be happening this year. How are you dealing with your leg? Hope we both get better soon!!!!!!!!!!!!! Time to hit the gym.
sorry to hear that man, I hope you heal up quick. my leg is fine, its just a bruised muscle basically so i will be back soon.
