Crested Butte, CO
Caught a flight early monday morning, still hungover from the Orage Masters, to Denver, Co. From there a tiny prop plane took me up to Gunnison, where MSPs Michael Hans picked me up to drive the last 30 minutes to Crested Butte.
Crested Butte is closed for the season, so me, Russ, the DC snowboard team, and the MSP folks are pretty much the only people in town. It’s very, very quiet.
I hate these planes. Scandinavian Airlines took all of them out of their fleet because their landing gear keeps failing. Just the thought of being driven through the air only by two small propellers scares the shit out of me.

We were hitting the jump today but I forgot my camera.
