[I wrote this post last night before going to bed, but ran out of internet as I got ready to post it. So here it is. At the moment I'm boarding my 11 hour nightmare flight to Kuala Lumpur, so stay tuned for an update from that in a bit. Peace!]

Writing from a Comfort Inn in Auckland. It’s raining outside, and the air is much more humid than Wanaka. I took a shower this morning and I feel the need for it again, badly. Some shitty college flick is on the TV and I cringe as I hear my favorite Elliott Smith song in the soundtrack.

Me and Oscar Harlaut booked some really good, cheap flight tickets that turned out to include 1 night in Auckland. Kind of a bummer having to stop after just flying for 2 hours, but what can you do, the airline wouldnt let me change it because they were “too cheap”. Money talks, I guess. Leaving first thing tomorrow morning on the flight to Kuala Lumpur, and then on to Stockholm. Should be a nice 25 hour journey. Here’s some of today in pictures:

Chris O’Connell getting ready to go to the airport and check in 133 kilos of luggage. He somehow got away with only paying 350 bucks. Not bad.

Oscar had a moment of stardom in Queenstown.

Stopped at FergBurger for some food before boarding. Had the falafel burger Bun Laden. If youre in Queenstown, this place is worth a visit.

Ran into some aussies at the airport.
