London Freeze

Good morning, it’s 7:22 London time and I just woke up in my Comfort Inn hotel room (big step up from last year’s accommodation, thank you Freeze).

After getting into London Heathrow I was faced with the option of getting a 40 £ taxi, or try to find my way to the hotel myself. As a first timer in the London underground, with a 25 kg ski bag and another 20 kg roller bag, this wasnt the easiest of tasks, but after a few minutes of wandering around Paddington station, inspecting subway maps, and sweating a whole lot (the underground is way too warm for an Oakley ski jacket), I finally made it to the hotel.

When I first got to the hotel and saw that I was in a shared room, I was hoping it wouldnt be the gnarliest party animal, or even worse, someone I kind of knew but never really hung out with (always awkward), but it turned out to just be little Oscar Scherlin. Sigh of relief, now I can enjoy my nightly entertainment watching him get home at 4 am with some Halloween dressed up London models.

  1. is Oscar still doing the doubles? I’d like to see him a little closer to the podiums in the future.

  2. I hate london and it’s raining I had to go before they got the the ski stuff…Had to get some people on a plane. But I’ll keep myself updated! Good Luck
