Oakley party + Slopestyle prelims

Just got off the hill after doing the slopestyle qualifiers for X-Games. Finished in 10th place after putting down a few OK runs. Not too happy about it but what can you do.

Just posting some pictures from the last 24 hours to keep you guys up to date:

The following morning was game time, slopestyle prelims:

IMG_0527had that super nervous feeling when I went to the hill, not really feeling like throwing down…

IMG_0529I love the smell of gunpowder in the morning…

IMG_0531Hanging out with Banks after putting down one of my best slopestyle runs ever, unfortunately it was not enough…

IMG_0534Good think sofia was there to give me some post-defeat consolidation.

IMG_0545Colby said: wait, wtf happened? who put that dumb fence there?

IMG_0549I was never an energy drink guy, until I met this little thing. Monster ice coffee, I love you.

Heading over to the venue in a bit to test out the Big Air jump. Should be exciting, as you might have read on various skier blogs the jump could have been better. Let’s make the best of it and show everyone how its done!
