POV stuff

A little late, but better than never. Shot a run through the slopestyle course at Euro X with my Contour HD helmet camera, and it turned out pretty cool. You get a pretty good idea of how freaking long that course was!

  1. Cool POV!
On your second jump you do a Flat 5 right?..
I noticed that you still look towards the landing eventhough you have already set the rotation. can you explain why you do that? or did it just happen? would be cool to know cause im working on that flat at the moment ;) and i always try to look behind myself when i start the rotation for a flat/rodeo.
    thx for the nice blogging!

  2. hey marlon – thanks for props, about the flat 5: after doing probably thousands of that same trick, the set just comes naturally to me and i find it easier just to set it really hard with my feet and stay strong in my core, that way i can spot my landing before the trick has even started. good luck!

  3. Nice! Ser grymt ut! Kör hårt. Och vad ska du härnäst?

  4. um…yeah, hi jacob. i’m a huge fan of yours. you like totally rock. i’m trying to learn dub corks and i noticed you threw a couple in that run, or i’m at least guessing you did. i’ve only skied 11 days total in my whole life, but i’m planning on doing one the next sunny day i ski. can you tell me how?!

no, just kidding, kind of, but really, part of that is true. was that switch dub 9 and then dub 12 in there? i’m just liking the visualization. you teach banks, banks teaches me…

    hope you’re well bud.

  5. Super clean run, I love watching good helmet-cammed clips. It’s too bad you didn’t place super well in the comp.

    Well layed down run, regardless.

  6. blake – jeez buddy, theres no dubs in that run! super mellow practice run, switch cork 9 and forward cork 9..
    hope youre well too bru

  7. Very nice run, your very good. That was smooth as hell, Keep it up.
