Taghazout, Morocco

Sitting here at La Point surf camp in the small village of Taghazout, northwestern Morocco, after a sunset surf and a much needed dinner.

Not the fastest internet so I’m going to try to upload a few pictures from the day…

Sofia stepping off the 5 hour flight from Stockholm. We were greeted by a rainy and windy Morocco…not that cool.

the scene at around 4pm at classic surf spot Anchor Point. rain showers, howling cross shore winds and overcast skies, not looking too promising. But, there’s definitely swell in the water so there should be surf!

waiting for the wind to calm down while the sun’s coming out.

At about 5pm the weather took a 180° turn and went beautiful! While the sun was setting the wind started dying down and I hit the waves for about an hour. Stoked to be back in the water!

coming back up after a fun hour long session. will get you some surf shots this week, at night you can’t really shoot due to the backlighting from the sun, when everyone’s wearing a wetsuit its pretty hard to tell who’s who…

the fishing boats after sunset.

Gonna pass out now and then hopefully wake up to glassy perfection tomorrow morning, forecast looks promising…

Stay tuned
