1. Just watched the runs and one there’s one run that stands out, but not in a good way unfortunately. Most of the other riders have got to be reflecting on the “B-Dog issue”, although I understand it’s a delicate thing to be outspoken about. Phil skis the way he skis and gets rewarded for that, no hate on him, but there are hundreds of riders out there who could put down the same kind of run. Only difference is you’ve never heard of them, and if they somehow got to compete in X their runs would be rated for what they are – much less difficult runs with focus on style. Nothing wrong with style, but read Jacob’s earlier post ‘Thought on style and its royal family’ regarding the problems with focusing on style in competitions.
