Wow, 8 days without posting! I’m sorry, life without internet is just way too relaxing. Good thing it’s summer, right?

Well, what’s going on in the life of yours truly? At the moment we’re still in Bali and we have pretty much decided to stay here for the remainder of the trip, which is another 10 days. Sure, it’s crowded and busy all day but there’s something special about this island that makes it hard to leave. If you add a few “secret” surf spots to that, then you have a pretty good reason to stick around. Here’s the last week in photos:

We’ve been hanging out a lot at one of my favorit spots in Bali, Bingin. It’s a short but super fun lefthander that gets really good on a medium swell on low tide. Here’s me getting some time in the shade.

We’ve had a few days of some serious swell in the water too. Here’s an unknown surfer getting some.

Fun little secret righthander somewhere up the east coast. Not as big or heavy as the typical bali spots, but for this session we were a total of 7 surfers out for 3 hours. Not bad.

One day we found some puppies just by the surf, so we have a new favorite spot, at least if you ask Sofia.

Finishing this post with an illustration of how sharp some of the coral reefs on Bali are. These are my feet after one of the shallower sessions at Bingin. So worth it though…
