getting ready to head back to the venue for the Big Air competition! did a practice session yesterday and got used to the jump, it’s not as big as I had been hoping, yet the snowboarders somehow managed to get triples around on it…holy shit is all I have to say. I doubt it will happen on skis as we don’t flip as fast but you never know what happens in the heat of the moment. I just know I’m going to treat this contest like a big show and throw some style tricks as well as tech, but we’ll just have to wait and see what happens I guess.
in other news, big props to David Wise for killing pipe finals today, and Noah Bowman and Torin Yater-Wallace for taking 2nd and 3rd. pipe skiing is crazy!!

I guess the thing that makes guys like Tom, Bobby, and Jon so great is they don’t bitch about every comp that doesn’t go their way. Fake or not, those are competitors I admire. Shaun White doesn’t complain.

Anonymous – go somewhere else is you want to be a prick. It takes an insane amount of skill to even be considered for the X-games. AND with the level of skiing these days, it’s undoubtedly tough to keep at the front of the pack. Take your asshole comments somewhere else.
haha anonymous: you rpost just shows that u have no idea about anything! for example calling jon a non-complainer…he’s the one leaving out comps when the course is not good enough or dangerous! and why shaun white doesn’t complain: he’s getting a perfect score for a not perfect run, of course he’s currently the best, but i dislike a score of a 100 points, cause this shows how bad judging is and that judges can do whatever they want or what they are told to do from sponsores etc.
Who cares if Shaun doesnt complain? He’s a total asshole if he loses a comp. Personally i think it’s better to complain and dont be an asshole
