Season’s over!

Well, that was it. We had two beautiful sunny days, and we to to session the MSP jump up at Whistler Blackcomb under some amazing sunsets. Russ Henshaw, PK Hunder, Aidan Sheehan and Richard Permin all killed it and I’m pretty sure I got a few bangers in the bag. Today I packed my bags for my trip home on thursday, I don’t think I can properly put into words how much I look forward to some time in my apartment, with Sofia, with my skateboard, and on my surfboard. Skiing since october has been awesome but  I could definitely need a break!

doing a cork 7 tail with russ jumping next to me with a 70.000 dollar camera. no pressure.

This season has been such an amazing one, not only because of the trips I’ve been on and the people I’ve spent it with, but because I have really found my place in skiing and where I want to take it. I’ve gotten more comfortable in bigger terrain, my confidence level is up and I’ve simply skied more powder than I have ever dreamed of. I have gotten the best footage of myself I’ve ever had and really look forward to what comes out in MSP’s 20 year anniversary movie. I can’t wait for another season of steep lines and big cliffs, mixed with some amazing park skiing.

This is the life, and I’m right in the middle of it, taking it all in.

See you again in Stockholm, hopefully blogging from a new laptop since my trusty MBP decided to crash the other day…
