Verbier

Hi from sunny Verbier, our current location. Last thursday Daniel had to leave for Chamonix on a photo mission with Andreas Fransson in some gnarly colouirs. We had already had 2 epic photo days here in Verbier, after our successful St.Anton trip so a few days off actually felt welcome. I decided on short notice to fly Sofia down to meet up for a 4 day mini-vacation, so she was obviously a very happy girl:

Since she had never tried skiing powder before Armada hooked us up with some TSTw’s in her size, and we decided to go for a little hike. Definitely a bit nervous on the way up but she killed it!

After the pow mission we found her a bag jump to really put her skills to test:

And yours truly was busy looking for fun cliffs to throw tricks off, this spot is called “big dick” according to the Verbier locals:

So today was Sofia’s last day and tomorrow Daniel gets back here and it’s time to get back to work. Not sure where we are going next but since it hasn’t snowed here in a few days we should probably start powder-hunting. Any tips on where to go?

  4. nm – ingen golden ticket i år! men kanske ingen jätteöverraskning med klena tävlingsresultat förra året. satsar på WC i år istället.

  8. How do the Norwalks compare to the JJs? I’m tempted to get a pair of powder skis and I’ve always thought the JJs look awesome.
