FIS WC silvaplana – done!
Well, today was the finals day at the FIS world cup here in Silvaplana. Unfortunately for me I had to watch today since I could’nt put down a perfect run in qualifiers yesterday. Due to bad conditions the speed was really difficult to figure out and I came up short on a few of my jumps, and the score of 62 points was not enough to make it. Ended up in 17th out of 40 people in my heat, which was definitely a tough one with many heavy names. My brother and Niklas Eriksson however, skied really well and made it into today’s competition, ending up in 4th and 11th place respectively. Watching Oscar throw down a near perfect run was awesome and I could not be more stoked for him. Good thing someone defends the family honors!
Here are both their runs from today:
After the contest was done and dusted I headed up the mountain here in Corvatsch looking for some good snow. Definitely found a few stashes and ended the day with a lonely hike up to the top of the FWT (freeride world tour) face, which I skied in the last afternoon light. Felt good to add a new descent to the list, would be fun to do the actual comp here some time.
some unbelievable lift accessed terrain here that never gets tracked.
looking back up the north face of corvatsch. 20 cm of fresh top to bottom!
Tomorrow the rest of the team are heading home while I will be staying here in St.Moritz, where I will be linking up with filmer Fabian Gattlen for the next few days. Got some exciting plans, stay tuned!

jacob, you have to come over to the davos klosters region to film. Epic powder here, a lot more than in St. Moritz! Have been at Corvatch to watch the comp, but headed back to Klosters in the afternoon for some moore epic powder tree skiing!
