Filming!

So, after the World Cup was over I decided to stay in St.Moritz to get on a mini film mission with my good friend Fabian Gattlen on Four 10 Skiing. It’s been a productive couple of days and hopefully we’ll get a nice edit together soon! Right now I’m staying the night at Elias Ambühls place in Thusis, Switzerland, and tomorrow him and I and TJ will be driving over to Val d’Isere for the Frostgun Big Air! Excited to hit a good jump!

Here’s a short recap of the last few days:

First we headed over to a small resort in lower Engadin, called Scuol. Our plan was to build a gap jump. Our friend Floh Burkard found this spot 4 years ago, and it had never been hit before, so now it’s called Floh’s Gap. Here’s a few screenshots from Fabian’s 7D:

After the gap we have been skiing around all over Corvatsch mountain hitting little lines and cliffs. Not going to show you any teasers from that yet, you’ll have to wait for the edit!

  1. Jacob, all this footage that you made during this season is for a personal edit or are you going to send it to MSP ? If not, are you going to film with MSP this season, because you haven’t said anything about this…

  2. duddd – this is all for a personal edit, I hope I’m filming with MSP but no plans have yet been finalized. canada in april would be the plan I think. I’ll keep y’all posted.

    im searching a touring set up and want to buy some armadas,
    what do you think about the norwalk to go touring on?
    or JJ or better the TST?

    would be great to hear your advice about those

  4. felix – depends on what kind of skiing you want to do. ive been touring on both, and they work great. the norwalk is better if you want to ski big stuff, fast, etc. JJs if you think you want to built jumps, land switch etc. good luck!
