RaxSki from Austria, the most controversial ski

We have invented the RaxSki
because we found no ski turning fast enough
nor tracking well enough in all snow and terrain conditions.
After 20 years of desparate attempts to invent such a revolutionary ski
we “bent" the normal side-cut ski behind the binding
and fixed surfboard-like fins at the ski tail.
That was the break-through. A ski that can be operated like an ice-skate (on hard slopes)
and a surfboard (on powder).
This is how the “Ski with Rear Fins" was born on extreme Austrian slopes in 2006.
Controversial discussions on leading web forums started in October 2007
and resulted in improved models for freeriding, groomed piste, experts, intermediate skiers, children and beginners.
The RaxSki is a child of internet
