As a long time Against Me! fan that’s slowly losing his hope for their once genuine and revolutionary work, that’s lately been turning into dull and streamlined radio rock, I was about ready to give up on the Florida quartet. Until I received the news that their lead singer Tom Gabel is releasing an acoustic EP in the near future. Tom started his career solo, with a guitar and a microphone, and far too much anger and opinions to keep his mouth shut, and quickly raised to the top of the underground punk scene as his band formed. Now it seems like he is returning to his roots, and with him being backed with the resources one needs to release listenable productions, I just can’t wait to see how this is turning out.
