Freestyle.ch (arrival day)

Just got into Zürich, Switzerland this morning (got out of bed at 5), and I’m back at the Ibis rider’s hotel, just like every year. Freestyle.ch is becoming a nice september tradition for me, this is my 5th year here, and it’s always good weather and a good show. (and good parties)

Won’t post much about the day, but here are some stills (shot from my cellphone since my camera broke, don’t get the Sony h20);

P24-09-09_16.31.1We visited a pretty cool (and somewhat controversial, and freaky), anatomy exhibition called Body Worlds and the Cycle of Life. It’s basically about 200 human and animal bodies preserved in various states of dissection. Fascinating stuff, but I’m glad I had lunch before, some of the rooms were graphic, to say the least. It was hard to think about that we were actually looking at real, dead, human bodies.

P24-09-09_18.11[01]Then it was back to our fly room for some mariokart, a couple episodes of entourage, and now we’re waiting in the lobby for the Oakley folks to pick us up for a team dinner. Tomorrow is practice and qualifications for group 1, so I’ll be watching, should be fun, and I’ll make sure to bring you all some action footage from that.

  3. Hej Jacob. I dont saw you at the freestyle.ch beacause I come just Sunday. I saw CLAIM and I think you’re simply the best. What do you think about Switzerland? Is a niche place? =D
