San José to Tamarindo

IMG_1663After about 2 hours on the panamericana highway you cross a bridge onto the peninsula and drive into lush tropical djungle…

IMG_1666…and spend the next two hours on roads like this.

IMG_1668the end of our journey, the Pura Vida Hostel in Tamarindo. This is where we’re going to be based for the next few days.

Gonna head down to the beach now and check out the surf, so stay tuned for some of that!
