this place is awesome, sunrise at 5.30, so you surf in the morning, then at lunch you just kick back and hang out in the hammocks in the hotel until dark at 6pm. then at 8 its bedtime. thats my schedule for the next 2 weeks…

8.30 am, after breakfast. going for a second surf at playa grande, 20 minutes by car north of tamarindo.

I could think of uglier places.

fun little punchy left. supposedly this entire area has been totally flat for over a week, so we’re stoked we got some waves right off the bat. tomorrow’s looking like a new swell is on its way.

this guy is probably stoked.

this is what happens everytime i go surfing after a long break. bad rash, it usually goes away after a few days surfing, but you look like the biggest kook on the beach in the meantime.
