surf shots!
sofia’s been working the 70-200mm snapping some stills of the surf, so i’d figure i’d post some of the last few days:
it’s worth mentioning that these are just shots of those rare moments im actually surfing, most of the time im missing waves, crashing on take-offs or getting in other peoples way. this is usually what I feel after a surf session:
…but somehow I cant wait to get back out, everytime. surfing is weird, don’t ever try it.

You speak sense bro. But when you’re shredding those glassy little Costa Rican right handers, it makes all those crashes/throats full of sea water/stinging eyes/rashes alllllll worthwhile.
How often does Sophia surf? Sounds like she’s a pretty lucky girl, travelling away all the time with a pro skier.
Don’t happen to know any Swedish female pro skiers, who surf and rock climb? That would be perfect.

ali b – I think the X Games commitee this year is only basing their invites on the AFP rankings. If I do well in Dew tour in breck, I might get in, same for russ and elias.
