It won’t stop snowing here, today we probably got another 25 cms throughout the day and it looks like its going to keep doing this for a while.

The time of our lives is now.

IMG_0923Henrik and Sean scoping the scene of the day, a bunch of avalanche barriers about an hour from Niseko. It’s right by the highway so we thought we would have to work it stealth mode to avoid the possibility of road workers calling the cops on us. To our surprise they watched it all and seemed to appreciate the show.

IMG_0936Sean, mid line 360. Watching this guy ski is awesome, and the fact that he is only 17 makes it even more inspiring. You can tell this is what he does all year and that he loves every bit of it.

IMG_0959after 5 exhausting hikes and fun rides, we all decided to leave the scene and go home. good first day of shooting!

IMG_0921oh, and on the contrary to what I just said about Sean, sometimes when he’s not skiing, the 17-year old in him comes out. good times.

IMG_0982the house we got all to ourselves.

Going to end today with a beer and a chicken fajita at Black Diamond Lodge, before going to bed and dream about more snow. Check back soon.
