day 3
went to a new zone yesterday that we all wanted to hit as soon as we saw it. it’s like japan meets alaska, and super accessible. unfortunately the weather came in as soon as Sean and I had hiked it, so we could never drop in. hopefully we’ll get to go back there in these next few days.

on top of the zone. obviously a totally different story in this weather, and after waiting for over an hour, we decided to pull the plug on it and ski down where we hiked up.
After regrouping back at the lodge we decided to go ski Hirafu, a ski resort right next to Niseko. They have epic night skiing and of course, tons of powder…
After getting a couple shots we got a pizza and called it a day. Skiing deep powder through trees at night might be one of the most soothing experiences of my life, like dreaming, so surreal. Can’t wait to do it again.
