friday
went back to the avalanche barriers today. we had another feature scoped out, right next to them, but on the way there we caught our eyes on a new zone, that looked too good to be true, pillows and snow covered trees everywhere. ended up getting quite a few shots on small features, good classic Japan filler stuff. lots of hiking but the best snow so far, unreal!
