and we are doing some serious skiing.
our not-so-secret-anymore Japan/Alaska face.
Pulling up to the big face today we were greeted by….*drumroll*…. the Poor Boyz crew, scouting their lines. Awkward, I guess. Not that I have anything against Sammy, Dane and Mike skiing the same stuff as us, but you know that the producers always want original and unique footage, and two Japan segments in two different movies with the same face being skied is just not optimal from a movie production point of view.
Anyhow, me, Henrik and Sean ended up skiing the spiny little flute section pictured above, while the PBP crew sessioned some stuff on the other side of the valley. Unfortunately the snow had turned into a crust over the last few days, so the line was not the all time shot it could have been. Personally, I’m just stoked I made it down without falling this time…
After the face, the clouds came in, and Henrik decided to build a jump, check it out:
