Sapporo sightseeing pt.II
one darker side of japanese culture is its lack of respect for animals. these dogs were for sale in a tiny store with hundreds of isolated glass cages, where they had little to no stimulus, probably not even aware of their neighbours. the physical and mental state of some of the puppies actually made me sick. when are we going to stop treating animals like commodities that we can buy and replace when we feel like it?
cheered up in this second hand store, where we all found some unique fashion to bring home.
