packing the boards

A look into my at the moment somewhat chaotic hobby room. trying to get organized for Bali is not the easiest task, I’m trying to limit my packlist to 20 kilos in order to avoid airport shenanigans.

bringing Sofia’s 6’10″ funshape and my 6’6″ step-up. going to buy a small wave board as soon as I get there, what do you think I should get? Looking at getting a 6’0-6’4 squash tail of some sort. Gotta get my technical surfing on!

  1. nah dude, with a squash tail, you need somthing extremely short.. try a rusty’s red line at 5’10. it’s soooo buttery

  2. Bali verkar helgrymt!
hur mycket för man räkna med att lägga ut för en månad därnere?
är det bäst att boka boende i förväg?
ser fram emot schyssta updates med mycket surfbilder:)

  3. im assuming your like 6’1″ or something like that??? id get a 5’11″, 18 3/4, 2 1/2 or thinner. Also, please either move that traction back to the leash plug, buy a steezier traction, or just take it off entirely.

  4. bali…im jealous.

  5. jakob – det är helgrymt. räkna med ungefär 5000 sek/månad för boende+mat, om man är villig att bo lite sunkigt och käka mkt nudlar.

kelly – thats cool ur commenting on my blog;). i probably woulndt move it back since my stance is usually pretty far forward on that board, and i would probably start plowing water if I moved it back.

im 6’2/172 lbs actually, surf a maximum om 75 days a year, and I think need some more volume than what youre describing, dont you?

  6. You should try the Channel Islands Fishcuit!!! the funnest board ever!! Enjoy Kuta nightlife ;)
