gangster monkeys
so yesterday the swell had pretty much disappeared, and only a few knee high little lines were rolling in from the ocean. we quickly decided to head down south to see if the more exposed spots has any waves breaking, but on the way we stopped by the holy temple at Uluwatu, on the very southern tip of the Bukit Peninsula. we were, like most tourists, more excited about the monkeys than the actual temple (which, dont get me wrong, is beautiful. monkeys are just more fun).
dressed up in traditional sarongs
monkeys everywhere, all out to steal any possesions you might carry.
not sure what this one’s looking for.
after the monkeys we went to Uluwatu and found some small waves on the mid to low tide. unfortunately we shared them with at least 50 surfers in the line-up.
So right now it looks like it’s gonna be pretty much dead flat for the next 3 days, so don’t expect so many surf updates on the blog. Keep checking though, we might go do something else, and I will make sure to write something.
