chris – I book and pay for all my flights out of my own pocket. i obviously get a salary from my sponsors, but I find its easier this way, and I dont have to invoice them everytime i book flights.

adam – I think Sammy’s triple is fucking SICK, and I am super stoked for him. He made it look so much better than I had ever dreamed of when I heard he did a switch triple 12, I had pictured it more like a sw 180 to triple backflip. Stoked that wasnt the case! I do feel a little bad for Bobby B though, since sammy’s crew were so quick with releasing the footage. Bobby’s wont be seen until the fall, and we can’t forget that was the first one and he deserves all the hype. Triples look intense and I don’t think I will do any, but props to those who do!

what i always wanted to know:

do you get a certain travel budget from your sponsors per year and book flights / accomodation on your own ? or do you have to check back every single flight if your sponsors gonna pay for that .. ?

would be cool to get an answer to that, keep enjoyin your sick surftrip jacob!
