Surf edit!

So it’s time again, for the mandatory Indonesia surf edit! Had a bunch of footage from this trip, Sofia killed it with the 7D, so it’s taken a while to sort out all the bangers and fit them in a 4 minute edit, but here it is. A bit of an ego trip, I know, but you don’t have to watch it. Enjoy!

  3. donphilippe – youre going during wet season, so base yourself on the east coast and surf the famous spots like nusa dua, hyatt reef and serangan. go explore further up the coast for fun righthanders. read up on bali before you go, most tips are covered in the guidebooks. good luck!

    maestro – i took out my 5’8 fatbeard, which is the fastest down the line board ive ever surfed, into that same lineup where the barrels caught up with me. I still wasnt fast enough for most of the waves. that’s a spot on bali called balangan, and there’s usually no way to make it past that section, insanely fast barrels.. i made it out through a few but none that got caught on tape..
