Caroline Kihlström wrote: Hi, I am very intrested in renting apartment SL5472A18 in Les Deux Alpes but have a few questions that I was hoping you could answer for me. My first question regards the cost of rent, which is stated on the webpage to be £4750 for Nov 1st to April 30th. Since part of this period has already passed I wonder if any reduction of the cost is applicable? Preferrably I would like to rent the apartment from the start of January (either from around Jan 10th or from Jan 1st, depending on what is possible). I also wanted to know what is included in the rent as far as electricity, heating, water and (if present) gas as well as for kitchen utensils and bed linnen? Furthermore, I will be renting the apartment together with five friends and wonder whether only one of us will be considered responsible for the property and will need to sign the contract and if so if it would still be allright if we all made seperate payments to your account to cover the full cost of rent? For my final question I was also hoping you could tell me how to proceed in order to rent the apartment, as far as the signing of contracts etc., if so agreed upon. Thank you very much in advance. Best regards, Caroline Kihlström Sweden och svaret: Hi Caroline Thank you for your enquiry, I am sure we can sort some sort of deal out for you. In response to your initial questions; _*Cost *_- the owner was trying to entice tenants by offering November free as well as reducing the price...... he would be prepared to drop the price to £4500 for a reduced period as that is how much he is wishing to earn for the season and he can't increase the revenue through weekly lets as he's not got the available contracts. _*Inclusions *_- Yes kitchen equipment is included but linen and electricity aren't _*Contractual arrangements*_ - yes you are right there would be a headline name on the contract but also we could have everyone sign the contract so that you are all jointly liable. _*Payment *_- The terms are that the rent is due with the booking (as we're less than 10 weeks away from its' start) and security deposit must be paid in full at least a week before the rental period starts. I can accept payments for this from several individuals. _*Proceeding *_- When you confirm that you are happy to proceed I create a booking on our system which gives you access to your booking, you download the contract and sign (or all of you sign) the contract and return it to me, make the required payments and email me a scan of everyone who has signed the contract passports. At this late stage if you could scan and email me the copy of the signed contract in case it gets delayed in the post that would be great. The apartment is then yours. Please let me know how you wish to proceed. regards Marcellus
