Helg åkning fr Malmö

Hi all,

Am trying to organise a bit of skiing this winter and have organised a trip with UCPA in france but would like to see what possibilities there are for weekend trips from Malmö.

Are there reasonable options for us here in Skåne or is travel time just too long?

I know there is a little hill a couple of hours north of Malmö, Hallands...something or other, I think, which was supposed to be okay last winter but I am prepared to go further. Even flying would be fine but keep in mind that I am only taliking about a couple days of skiing... Saturday-sunday and maybe Fri-Sunday, so the usual thurs-sunday package thing is out.

Hi Pietro,
Nearest decent size resort is Norefjell - it lies about 1 hour north-west of Oslo. you can take train/bus/fly to Oslo and then catch the piste bus from there.

Otherwise, it is very easy to get an overnight train up to Åre Friday night, ski Saturday/Sunday and be back at your desk 10am the following Monday (train gets in about 9:30 am I think).
