Yes they are a racing ski, but they are a so-called "combi" model somewhere in between a SL and a GS. At that age SL would be a radius of  approx. 9m and GS a radius of approx. 14m. It's common for small children to only use one pair of skis for both disciplines. (In some countries this is a strict rule, in order to keep costs down).The length sounds about right for her weight. She will probably get on pretty ok with them, as long as they are in ok condition. Racing skis for children at that age are not that much stiffer or more demanding than recreational models. Give them a go and see how she gets on with them.Oh, and double that 6 to at least 12 days of skiing! Mark</blockquote>
