Men det dröjer nog ett bra tag innan de kan behandla patienter med metoden. Nedan kan du läsa ett brev från forskaren. October 9, 2006 Dear Mr. Sternbro, Thank you so much for your interest in the ACL research we are doing here at Children's Hospital, Boston. While we are very excited and encouraged about our early results, this procedure is not ready for use in patients at this time. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer individual advice to patients by email. As we are sure you can imagine, with the volume of requests we receive daily, this is currently not possible. If you are interested in more information about currently available treatments for patients with ACL tears here at Children's, please see our website at: www.childrenshospital.org/az/Site587/mainpageS587P0.html. We are also glad to offer appointments for individual clinical evaluations for patients of all ages, which can be requested by phone at (617) 355-3501. If you are interested in more details about our research in this area, please see our website at www.childrenshospital.org/murray. The pace of our research is dictated by the funding we receive for this project. If you are interested in helping our efforts, donations for this work can be made through Sarah Roth with the Children's Hospital Trust at (617) 355-4008 (more information available at http://giving.childrenshospital.org/contact/default.aspx.) Thank you again for your interest, and we will continue working hard to find new and innovative solutions for this important medical problem. Sincerely, Martha Murray, MD
