I went to the core. Of course Völkl is not so crazy as to build a cheaper, or qualitywise bad ski, for any dealer. It would hurt there longterm buisness in a really bad way. This is nonsense, coming from other dealers, that still can't live with the competition. There is a problem though with the Völkl Katana, the negative camber on the ski is sometimes different. So on one ski it is bent up more then on the other. Plus it has some white spots on the base, sometimes. It doesn't affact the skiing performance, but Vökl has some small problems with this ski. But this is everywhere, not just on our Katanas. And one more thing about the freeride forum freeride.se: we used to make advertising there, and this year we were refused to do so, because the swedish ski importers, are pressing the forum not to take our advertising any more. This is just to give you an idea, how much fighting is going on to protect the swedish market from lower prices. Bad for the consumers! Thanks again, it is always interresting for us to know what people think about our service. Have a good winter and lots of pow. Hans Conrad
