Current snow conditions in Åre / Storulvån?

So good to see those internet forums are still alive in the era of social medias taking over, I hope that English is not a problem for you as I don't speak Swedish yet

I'm a guy from Poland thinking about visiting this region in week 11 for some alpine ski-touring and maybe a day off-piste in the resort. But the weather forecast show high temperatures with the freezing level at around 1000m. So how much snow do you have now in the mountains, can I expect some good spring-corn-skiing or carrying the skis halfway up the mountain?

You can check the avalanche forecasts at lavinprognoser.se for åre/södra jämtlandsfjällen, it tells you something about the snow conditions as well. The english language forecast was not very informative but maybe you can google translate the swedish one instead.

I very much doubt you will have to carry the skis, but it might not be warm enough to get good spring skiing either. There's been some recent avalanches so there's some fresh snow at least.
