Cancellation of World Cup Races on 28 and 29 October 2006 in Sölden
Due to heavy rainfalls during the nights of 23 and 24 October 2006 and the extremely warm temperatures, the already groomed and prepared race track was severely damaged. The remaining quantities of snow and the forecasted temperatures do not allow World Cup races on the original race track. Right above the steep part of the slope skiing conditions and training possibilities are still very good. But it is not possible to move the finishing area to the top of the slope due to sporty reasons and the general World Cup regulations. Thank you for your understanding.
