Skis waxing near from Huddinge or Stockholm

Hi,

I'm a French student in Stockholm since one month. I would like to find a place near from Huddinge or Stockholm to make wax my new skis for a cheap price. I don't speak Swedish yet so I'm meeting some difficulties to found a shop. If your have a tips for a good shop, it's welcome too.

I would recommend skidsport in bromma their really good, just take the subway to ''abrahamsberg'' and its across the road!

alpingaraget, alpint, skidsport bromma, skidbytarboden... there are a large number of good ski shops in stockholm, try and contact them all and see what it costs, i sure hope that they know at least some english...

I'm here for only a couple of month so buy an old iron and others things do not appears like the better way, I won't bring it back by plane...

Buy an old iron of blocket / Tradera and do it on your own!

Old iron at Myrorna: 15-25 SEK. Give it back to them when you don't need it anymore and they can sell it again, it's all charity. Buy some wax and a scraper and you've saved yourself a lot of money.

Jeaninho you can take a bus to the mountain of Flottsbro only some km from you. Maps over here. Flottsbro have a skirental so maybe they have wax too.

Go to Oneoff! it is not in Huddinge, its located at Stockholm city but its totally worth the short trip there! They will do it reallly good. They know how to wax boards!

I lived in Huddinge for 1 year ago, I would wax your stuff for less than half of what the shops want. But I know a guy who knows a lot of waxing and he will do it really cheap. Add him on facebook, he will add you.

Menar du att en som driver en bergsanläggning som Flottsbro och har skidskola, skiduthyrning, liftar inte har personal med kompetens hur man vallar ett par skidor både när det gäller skidvård förebyggande samt hur man lägger på grundvalla och glidvalla med de metoder som råder för sånt. :o
