Summer season

Hi everybody ! I'm coming from France, practising moutain bike and alpin skiing (race SL GS and freeride). I come to this forum because I have a project for this summer, I want to do a season in Are. It's not easy to find some informations in my country about Are and sweden generaly that's why I'm here. I would to know if's it's possible to find a season job in summer at Are, where it's possible to live during this periode (habitations for season's workers like in the alpes ?). I hope you'll help me to realise this project and to be in your country this summer !

You cal allways works as a dish-boy @ some resturant. Maby "broken". Many people rent out their rooms during the summer so you should be abel to find somwhere to live. Www.are.cc is a swedish website for Åre. Dont know if its in english aswell.

I can try to check it out for u dude.
My goal is to stay her all year around for some years. Perhaps if i got my own place i can rent u a room if u are not to uptight.
Work can be hard because u dont know the language. But if u are hungry u wheel finde food right.
And thats the same whit a job some weer to live and all that.

I belive the chanse to find booth jobs and a place to live should be much easier in summer than during wintertime, if you start to search habitations now. You can allways contact the turist information bureau in Are for some info at their email

Should be easier to talk to someone who, hopefully, knows a lot about how to plan the summer/winter season over here.

Thank's for your answers ! I think too the language could be a problem for me, particulary to find a job but to make pizza or be a dish boy I hope it won't be a problem.
Atomic don't worry i'm realy not uptight, i'm 21 years, it's not time to be uptight ^^ I want to live all this summer In Are to discover new mountain and new culture, live with local poeple is the best i can hope.

Does somebody know some places where I can find a job ? I have fear to begin my search too early because Boss don't give jobs without saw their employees :s
