A mid fat waist makes it nimble from edge-to-edge when on the groomed, yet skins like a workhorse on ascents in the backcountry and rips powder like a dream. The Husume is back for 2013 with extensive refinements that have taken it from a great ski to a down right category killer! Increased tip length, more sidecut, refined tail shape and a few mm wider in the waist are only some of the improvements that have testers drooling. Moderate camber with early rise tip and tail add increased fun yet great edge hook up in the powder. For the off piste focussed, all mountain, backcountry ski connoisseur this ski certainly belongs on the “skis to own” bucket list. The Husume is named after a premier backcountry run accessible behind Blackcomb mountain only a few minutes from our factory. XTC Carbon Construction is available as an upgrade to all Husume skis and saves an average of 600 grams (1lb 5oz) off our regular quad glass ski construction while adding additional pop to the skis\' overall feel. Profile: Hybrid Rocker Profile provides floatation and predictability in powder of all kinds...and allows it to turn real EASY! 2-4 mm of traditional camber underfoot provides energy from turn-to-turn.
