Yes, the Governor is a big ski with a stiff midsection, and as a result it remains unsettlingly stable at high speed in disgusting conditions. But its rockered shovel and mid-radius sidecut make it capable of much more than just straightlining couloirs and stomping massive cliffs, including—but not limited to—pow slashing, ripping groomers, and sending that natural goalpost booter at Alta you’ve always wanted to tick off.
