The different technological solutions depend on the choice of the best raw materials and on a precise and careful process of each individual stage of the work. Thanks to SKI TRAB lightweight technology we can say lightweight without half-measures. 14 different layers wrap the ultra-light core, an innovative system to reduce vibration, a shell even more resistant to torsion. Progressive flexibility and ergonomic design make common movements as pleasurable as playing an instrument. THE EVOLUTION OF THE LIGHTWEIGHT WOOD CORE Lightweight and quality within everyone’s reach . A new light wood core reinforced with a fiberglass box wrapping around the skis provides light and high performance skis with durability and resistance. Wood is the most used raw material in ski production. For years designers have sought after a wood that is lightweight yet durable and strong, yet this goes against nature. A lightweight wood core needs to be supported by production processes and to be mixed with other types of wood to improve its strength; above all it must be wrapped by composite materials which give it torsional rigidity and durability. ATTIVO PROGRESSIVE SHAPE: IT ADAPTS PERFECTLY TO ALL SNOW CONDITIONS It improves the steering providing a perfect floatability and easy turning ability. It’s an innovative shape allowing a gradual entry into the fresh snow, maintaining however the contact on hard snow also with flat skis. The ski tip and tail show a particularly marked flex providing a perfect floating. The tip is longer and enhanced by a flex that provides a perfect control of the ski. The centre immediately responds to the skier’s action and the tips gradually become softer thus being able to follow uneven terrain actively and facilitating without causing unbalance the skier’s action. The tip has a more linear design which facilitates the entry into fresh snow making the ski control and manoeuvrability easier, especially when skiing fast. The side-cut centre moves backward and the radius increases providing an enhanced steering ability on hard packed snow. LOW OMEGA PROFILE The new technology “Low Omega Profile” creates a variable longitudinal profile in order to better modulate the flex of the ski. On the outside of the ski it is lowered in the areas where it is necessary to increase the flex in order to improve manoeuvrability, while in others it reinforces torsional stiffness and holding power for better stability and edge grip. It improves steering, entry into and closing of the turn, as well as reducing the weight of the skis. DUO TECH DIFFERENT FLEXIBILITY 1. with a flat ski the tail maintains its rigidity and the ski guarantees a perfect stability and support. 2. on turning the tail flexibility is greater, improving the steering and making skiing easier. 3. with a flat ski the hollow of the ski tail increases stability and steering precision.
