jag tror han som kom på det studerade snowboardens form i fem år o kom sen på det i slutet på -98 tror jag det var... sen försökte dom sälja idén till bl.a. Burton o andra men ingen nappade vilket gjorde att dom bestämmde sig för att göra egna brädor, men dom fick inte sitt patent förrän -03? tror det var nåt sånt.. stog på deras gamla hemsida iaf...

alltså allt jag läst på det där forumet är det här:

"Similar, Volkl do one too with a curved base, but these bases all have a nice gentle curve, and no flat portions - it's if you like still a single base, but with a curve. The triple base stuff is 3 flat surfaces, no curving. So you have that concave effect, but when you look close you can see it's a " \_/ " shape, not a " U " shape. Same principle, but the triple base is patented. Their website explains it far better than I can."
