ALLA VANN!!!
"This morning the participants of Jib Academy final in Mammoth did not wear their ski boots to cross the parking lot of Mammoth mountain lodge and to reach the chairlift. They had to wake up early for their transfer to Reno airport. Henrik had to wake up early to catch his flights that would bring him back to his hometown of Are. Jeremie and Max the 2 french guys left the Sierras for the French alps whereas Elias had to fly to Switzerland. Though they did not have to take any overseas flight, Christophe, Ana, and the 2 Nicks had also to leave early to travel back home. Kyle who is living in Tahoe was the only one who had the chance to make a short drive home.
And the winner is.... Finally Salomon pro riders were not able to awar a specific rider as the best one of Jib Academy final. they have been so impressed by the level of each of these 9 kids, their passion and dedication to freestyle that the 1000 USD grant that was supposed to be given to a single person was finally splitted betwwen the finalists who left mammoth with 100 extra grounds in their pocket. But there was a surprise! Nick Martini, the oldest finalist is invited by Ulf Mard, the swedish creator of Jib Acedemy to take part to Stockholm big air next November.
All the particpants of Jib Academy final will remeber this great week for a long time. Not only these 9 kids but also Salomon riders and staff who shared with them the passion for Free style..."
