Sir Francis Bacon 2016 - question
Bought a pair of 2016 Bacons late last season and when time has now come to put a pair of Marker Kingpins on them (mainly skiing backcountry, no park nor switch or airs), I am at a loss when it comes mounting points: seems that early versions (like mine) of the ski has only one indication: 'Recommended midsole' at -2cm (measured distance from true center), whereas later iterations seem to state 'Eric's choice' at -2cm and 'Recommended' at -6cm. Looking at reviews on the web, this seems to be confirmed by looking at reviewers pics; initial reviews of the skis show -2cm only (text as above), wheras pics in later reviews (later versions of the skis) show -2cm and -6cm. Graphics as well is not 100% identical.
Anybody else encountered this conundrum regarding their Bacons? Seems I have gotten some kind of early production pair? Finally: assume I should just go ahead and add -4cm to get to the real, final recommended position (acc to Line) if skiing regularly?
Thanks!

Sir Francis Bacon 2016 - question
Hi, I have the 2014-15 SFBs. Mine have markings for Centre, Eric's choice (-2cm from centre), and Traditional (-6cm from centre). Due to the same confusion, I bought Marker Schizo that has +/- 6cm movement and mounted them so I can have them centre or traditional (or anything between). Personally I found Eric's choice too far forwards and have them at -5cm at the moment. Before drilling holes I'd drop Line an email. If you are in Stockholm you are welcome to PM me and pop round to compare.
