First Descent of Hullu Poro - "The glide will be forever" - Episode 10

A week ago we went to Lyngen with big hopes to ski a possible first descent. I noticed a picture of the line some years ago, thinking the couloir might go all the way through. Last year I got to see the line up close for the first time, and I've been keen to ski the line ever since.
On Thursday we got up at 5 a.m and hiked up the Goverdalen Glacier. Snow started coming down the mountain already at 8 a.m. Figured we were already four hours behind schedule, which was kind of a bummer.

After deciding to not climb the couloir we met up with @odesiivonen and climbed a south couloir from the glacier. At the top we got a clear view of the line we had planned in the first place, and it was actually possible to reach it from where we stood.

@kriskopa and I decided to go for it. Some small slabs and alot of sluff management on the way down. It was a beautiful ski.
