FREESKI SWE - LAAX OPEN
2023 is here, and so are we!Kicking off the new year with a new world cup stop, Laax Open! So cool to be back at this epic resort! Sad to see so much grass and low level of snow. But the park crew had done an amazing job with the course!
During the qualification we got some snow fall, great for the resort! Not as good for the speed, it was super challenging for the whole start field to clear the jumps..
No Swedish athletes in the final this time.. Top 6 in both heat went through. Jesper ended on 7th place. Martin Nordqvist did his first ever World cup in Slopestyle and snagged the 8th spot in heat 2, not bad at all for a rookie! Oliwer Magnusson got 11th in his heat and Melvin, Isak and Oliver Movenius wasn’t able to put down the runs they had hope for.. But that's how it goes sometimes!
Now Jesper is linking up with Henrik Harlaut and will go and compete in the X Games! Videos from that week will be out next weekend!
