Hey all.

I'm currently doing a school project on freeskiing x interaction design. The result is a mobile concept called Ride Society.

Ride society lets you track, capture and share your rides directly from the mountain.

i dont know if filming with the camera on an iphone is optimal for quality and such, but with the new ipone 4 i guess HD would be good enough!

I haven't had the chance to test the iPhone 4 yet, but i think the video quality will be a lot better than the 3GS. But it will probably never replace "real" cameras. My idea was to build on the fact that you almost always bring your phone.

Furthermore the iPhone4 has a gyroscope build in, which should be pretty good to track rotations, airtime and movement in general. Playing with that could be pretty interesting.

The cost would depend on the stakeholders. Now it just exists as a very simple prototype

Edit: now i saw that it is not in appstore yet:P
