"The first time I skid the S7 was before Thanksgiving 2007 in CO. We hadn't had any natural snow at that point so there was only one run of that man made, boiler plate, bullshit snow that goes to dirt in the trees. Even then the S7 was kick ass. It's the best ski Rossignol has ever made. For the last few years I've been a B-Squad skier. I'd ski the 184 on every non powder day and the 189 for the big days. Now I ski the S7. You don't have to take my word for it. When you see "Under the Influence," take a close look at the S7 on Sage Cattabriga-Alosa. He skis the craziest spine line he's ever skid on that ski. Also, keep in mind, not a lot of people have had a chance to ski on the S7. I don't mean any offense to anyone but make sure you're getting your advice from someone that's taken a run on it."

"You're right, I work for Rossignol. I tried to make it obvious with the rooster avatar. I'm not trying to sell anyone a used car though. Within the brand, the S7 is the best thing that's ever happened to me. If you like the Squads but want rocker, it's on par for sure. If the original question was B Squad style ski or S7.. ask yourself if you ski more like Sage (playful, fluid, stylee but still charging) or if you ski more like Ian Macintosh (straight line, mach 10, huge air)? Ian is on the Phantom 108 (Squad replacement)"
